Dear Parents,
Students will be making candy piniatas in their Spanish classes. Mrs. Illas asks that you please send in a bag of candy with your child, marked with their grade level so that the candy can be set aside for their class's piniata. Thanks so much!

Williamsburg Trip
Eighth Graders,
Mark your calendar, the Williamsburg trip is scheduled for May 13th-May 16th. We will travel by car with two chaperones. The estimated price is $495 per person. If you are planning on attending we will need a deposit and first payment of $120 by December 8th. Over the next 5 months we will be collecting another $75. Please be advised that all funds are non-refundable.
Fundraisers are being handled through the PTA, so please join the PTA to see how you can help. With your help we may be able to cut costs! Once it's determined how much funds have been raised we will give you the final cost.
We have made reservations at the Williamsburg Hampton Inn. We plan to tour the colonial sites in the area and to spend a day at Busch Gardens.
A final itinerary will be distributed as we near the trip date.

Drama Club Needs Your Old Costumes
Parents,
The drama club is in need of your old costumes, wigs, props, and anything else that could be used for drama club productions. As you are putting away your Halloween costumes and looking through your old ones, please keep the ACA drama club in mind. You can drop any items off in the main office and we will get them to Miss Cuoco. Anything you are able to donate will be greatly appreciated!

1 pocket folder
pencil
1 smock (an old XL t-shirt is fine)
50% Participation
• Ability to follow directions
• Proper use of materials
• Creativity and Effort
• Proper use of new art vocabulary
50% Project
• Completion of project to the best of your ability
• Ability to demonstrate use of art techniques being taught
You are responsible for making up missed work within one week of missed class. It is your responsibility to come to me to see what was missed. Work not made up will receive a grade of 0.
